Joining Jaymes on this episode of Catalytic Curiosity is Dr. Nigel Haarstad, a college professor and social scientist whose work focuses on technology’s role in shaping our perceptions of truth. Nigel is an educator and researcher in the field of Communication. His work chiefly focuses on “information disorder” and disinformation, as well as crisis communication. In addition to teaching courses on disinformation, research methods, and digital studies, he recently worked as a Computational Disinformation Analyst at a tech startup offering disinformation defense to government agencies and Fortune 100 companies.
